Emma Willis, Founder of Contour Fossa, is a nominated celebrity make-up & hair artist originally from London, England. Since her training at the prestigious London College of Fashion and after several years of experience in Film, Editorial, and Red Carpet, she relocated to Hollywood, California.
She knew from the beginning of her career that she wanted to build a team of talented artists and stylists. By collaborating with some of the top talent in Los Angeles, she formed an agency that is now known as Contour Fossa.
Nora Doench is an international Makeup Artist with over 10 years of experience in the fashion, beauty and entertainment industry; Film, TV & Print.
Nora has worked with some of the biggest fashion magazines and TV shows in Norway before coming to the United States. Her career started in Oslo, Norway where she worked with such networks like NRK, TV2, TV3 and TV Norge. She has worked with several fashion magazines doing portrait interviews and fashion spreads.
In addition to being a Makeup/Hair artist, she is a seasoned fashion stylist working with several of Norway’s celebrities such TV host Elin Tvedt, TV presenter and beauty queen Katrine Sørland, journalist and TV presenter Johanna Grønneberg, TV presenter Synnøve Skarbø, TV presenter and model Vibeke Klemetsen.
In 2008, Nora moved to Los Angeles to continue her career. In los Angeles she has worked with producer and comedian Barry Katz, American rock/pop band Magnolia Memoir, American actress and model Kristanna Loken, the Norwegian Olympic snowboard team, Norwegian International fashion model Siri Tollerod, American comic actress Cheri Oteri for Glamour Magazine, and american comedian Jay Mohr, to name a few.
Nora’s latest TV show, shot in Los Angeles, was Norway's Next Top Model where she was the Lead in the Makeup and Hair department for host and jury.
Nora is a passionate, detail orientated and prides herself on making sure each and every client looks and feels fabulous.
She feels the best complement she receives is the call from a repeat client.
Tara is originally from England, growing up just outside London. A dancer, an artist and a daughter of two hairdressers, she was destined to end up in the beauty field.
She trained in makeup and hair at the London College of Fashion and quickly found herself assisting and working with some of the best make up and hair artists in London.
She has worked all over the world, from Dubai to Ibiza, to New York and London, working with many photographers, such as Rankin and gaining a client list to be envious of.
She finally settled in California, where she says the light and landscape are a constant inspiration.
Her style of makeup is light and enhancing, bringing out the natural beauty in everyone she works with. She is equally comfortable working with hair as well, where her style leans towards the undone, done styles that California is so evocative of.
With an Actor husband and furry mother to two adorable cockapoos, Los Angeles is where she calls home these days and what a fantastic home it is!
My career and passion is a combination of art, and exposing true beauty. I feel so blessed to be able to share my vision and help beautify Los Angeles for the last 6 years. There is incredible joy in living out what you were created to do! Being a makeup artist allows me to awaken whats on the outside, which excites whats on the inside, feeling worthy of confidence. And well, if we all truly felt confident, that could be world changing! Its about more than makeup, it's true beauty revealed.
